OK, I'm Doing it TODAY!!!!

I set my camera to RAW + JPEG and I'm shooting a concert at the beach today. Wish me luck - I'm gonna need it to take this baby off of auto!!!!!!

WTG, Susan. I personally hate RAW, but you know, diff'rnt strokes!

I don't understand why people don't like RAW. Let me know if you want or need any help editing any shots! Make sure you have plenty of memory cards with you, just in case. RAW takes up a lot of room.

I had a 4GB card, but I only brought my not so nifty fifty and most of the shots are CRAP focus wise...I'm still working on processing!

Oh ouch. Yeah, 50's good for lowlight, but there are a lot of minuses to it. Slow focus, narrow depth of field at wide aperture, AF hunts REAL bad in lowlight. Hopefully your able to recover some of your shots.
