What is Your Favorite and Why?
I am in the market for a point and shoot to supplement my Rebel, and I would love to hear real life people talk about cameras - what work best for you?

this is the point and shoot I have and I LOVE it (for a P&S anyway LOL not nearly as much as I love my D80 though heehee)
Fuji Finepix S5100
Lanie has this one... she got it from Santa and the pic quality is nice! and it is decent for a pocket sized camera (and I love that it is PINK heehee) I wouldn't say spectacular though.
Nikon Coolpix L10
Both of those have video capabilities which i LOVE! and I miss with my D80

Kodak Easyshare m705
It is easy, lots of features, has digital stabilization, and it is cheap. If it breaks, there aren't many tears to be shed. The shutter lag is less than many digital cameras and the quality is pretty good!
I am stuck on Kodak. I really like their photo quality!

I really like my canon. I had the older Kodak one and wasn't really impressed with it.
Re: What is Your Favorite and Why?
I'm an SLR snob! Really! I've yet to see a p&s I like. I guess I don't mind carrying around pounds of gear. I do have a little P&S in my purse I rarely use. I've found it much more complicated than my SLR. The redeeming factor of it is that it is waterproof and shockproof and pretty much sturdy. I let my kids use it and don't worry about it. I hope someone else can give you a good recommendation. I'd be interested too as people always ask me what camera to get, but don't want a big one like mine.
The biggest request is no shutter lag.

We have bought two Casio Exilims - compact, easy to use, large viewing screen, you can make videos as well as take pictures, pictures are nice quality.
